Hey everyone! I hope you had a relaxing & fun Labor Day weekend! My husband (John) & I were able to get away for a long weekend at our favorite place: Disney. No, no, we do not have kids...but yes, we LOVE to go to Disney! While we were there, we were able to squeeze in a round of golf, too. I was finally able to try out the new GrooveLife Rings we just got at Magnolias & wanted to give you my honest review. GrooveLife Rings are a silicone ring alternative to your traditional metal and diamond rings. They have basically a lifetime guarantee (94 years) & they will replace your ring if it breaks or even if you lose it! It also is the only silicone ring on the market that has grooves to allow your finger to breathe. Now, the first thing I'd like to point out is that it is often hard to separate us ladies from our "bling." That being said, there are definitely more situations than you think where it would be best to not wear your diamond ring or band. The more I thought, taking your "real stuff" on vacation in general (specifically those that are on hot sandy beaches or foreign countries) can be a bit nerve wrecking. What if you lose it? What if it gets stolen? What if something scuffs it or damages it? Full disclosure, I do take my wedding ring & band on vacation, but I do get nervous about its safety when we inevitably play golf. Since I got engaged, I've always had to take my ring OFF when playing because 1) I cannot play golf in rings. It hurts. & 2) You cannot get a golf glove over your ring! So...much to my dismay...I would tuck it into a pouch in my golf bag & nervously check after every hole to make sure it was still there! So this trip, I locked my ring in the room safe & donned my new GrooveLife Ring to give it a go. The truth? It was WONDERFUL.
I was honestly shocked at how much I loved it. It was Florida, so that meant 90+ degree weather with 1000% humidity, and this ring stayed dry & comfy all day long. It was so comfortable that I forgot I had it on until I took my golf glove off! The verdict? I would 100% recommend this to any man or woman! Obviously, this is a perfect solution for guys who have jobs that for safety purposes do not allow them to wear a metal band. But, I think this a great alternative for ladies who don't want to risk damaging their rings during their day to day activities or vocations: hair stylists, nurses (or really any job that requires you to wear gloves a lot), workouts, vacations, gardening, & literally any athletic activity! The list goes on & on. If you have any questions about my experience or GrooveLife in general, feel free to contact me directly! I'd love to help in any way I can! I purchased two of these a couple years ago. One of them has split at the edge in various places despite living on tbe finger of a self-proclaimed couch potato. I contacted the company for a warranty replacement only to be told that: (1) they don’t have the same product to replace it with and (2) they charge a fee for warranty replacement. Who the heck charges a fee for a lifetime warranty? Junk product and junk service. Don’t buy from Groove!
